Prof. Dr. Sait Naderi

Doctor Sait Naderi graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 1984. He completed his specialization in Ankara University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Neurosurgery in 1990 and became a neurosurgeon specialist. He worked as a fellow in neuromonitoring, skull base and spine surgery in Hannover, Germany between 1993-1994, and in spine surgery at Barrow Neurologic Institute in Phoenix, USA in 1996 and New Mexico University in Abaquerque. He worked as a lecturer at Marmara University between 1995-1998. He became an assistant professor in 1998, an associate professor in 2000, and a professor in 2006 at Dokuz Eylül University. He served as the Education and Administrative Officer of the Neurosurgery Clinic of Ümraniye Training and Research Hospital between 2008-February 2021, and also served as a faculty member and head of the Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Health Sciences between 2017-2021. Dr. Naderi served as the Head of Spinal and Peripheral Nerve Surgery Group of the Turkish Neurosurgical Society between 2003-2005, the President of the World Spinal Column Society for 2016-2018, and the President of the Turkish Spine Society for 2017-2019. He is a member of the European Spine Society program committee in 2019-2022. Dr. Naderi served on the referee boards of many national and international journals, was the editor of the World Spinal Column Journal in 2010-2017, and has been the Spine Section Editor of World Neurosurgery since 2017. Dr. Naderi also serves on the editorial boards of many national and international journals, especially journals such as Europian Spine Journal and Turkish Neurosurgery. Dr. Naderi’s 272 articles, 100 of which were published in SCI indexed international journals; There are 126 book chapters published, 40 of which are in international books. Dr. Naderi has authored or edited 6 books. His works have been cited more than 3000 times and his H index is 30.
